July 2026 Newsletter –
Our June dance was wonderfully attended, and the energy in the room was fantastic. We enjoyed a beautiful Waltz class taught by Viorel Ionita — thank you, Viorel, for sharing your talent and grace with our community. We were also treated to two outstanding exhibitions that lit up the floor: the Daytona Salsa Ladies Team and The Daytona Salsa Team delivered performances full of spirit, precision, and vibrant energy. Thank you, Kevin Guerra, for bringing such dynamic artistry to our evening.
Save the Date – September 27, 2027
The Mall Ball is your chance to share the joy of dancing with your family and friends — let them see firsthand the fun, connection, and energy that make our community shine. There will be general dancing between performances, giving everyone plenty of time to enjoy the music and the magic of the dance floor.
More information will be shared as we get closer, but for now… save the date and get ready for a wonderful day at the Volusia Mall.

Even though July is coming to a close, the spirit of our nation’s 250th anniversary is still shining bright. We’re keeping the celebration going with an evening of dancing, music, and community — honoring the courage, creativity, and resilience that shaped America over the past two and a half centuries.
Join us as we celebrate the freedoms we cherish, the people who make our community strong, and the joy of coming together on the dance floor. Wear your red, white, and blue, bring your friends, and let’s close out July with pride, gratitude, and plenty of sparkle
The Mall Ball 2027
Save September 27, 2026 for The Mall Ball at Volusia Mall. Stay tuned for more information on how to register for a performance. Not interested in performing? Audience members will have several opportunities to social dance in-between sets. A guaranteed fun day for everyone. Performers must be active USA Dance members. Admission is free and open to the public for social dancing and audience participation.

Current members of our chapter may borrow from our growing library of DANCE VISION dance DVDs. Leave a $25 deposit, cash or check,
per DVD and you may borrow
one or two DVDs for one month.

Support our local arts organizations
When you choose Florida's "State of the Arts" license tag for your vehicle, all of the proceeds fund visual and performing arts programs (like ours) right here in Volusia County.
How much does it cost?
The first-time cost of a State of the Arts plate is $32 in addition to your vehicle's normal registration fee at time of renewal.
Of that, $20 is tax deductible. Future renewals are only $22 each year in addition to the normal registration fee with $20 again being tax deductible.
To re-order: At renewal, simply state you would like a "State of the Arts" plate and include a check for $32 along with your renewal notice.

Visit your local tag office, turn in your current plate and receive your new "Arts Plate" on the spot for $32. Gift certificates for State of the Arts plates are also available at your local tag office and make great gifts that also help our community.
It's a great way and a great day to be a Driving Force
for the Arts!
